aparate.co is a digital (and mobile driven) network ecosystem / platform for the agricultural sector in South Africa around crops, farm inputs, assets, training, market access and related businesses and organizations but with a particular focus on smallholder and emerging farmers in South Africa.
The platform creates smart, distinctive and content rich data profiles of all ecosystem stakeholders that form part of the various value chains. Given the baseline, aparate.co adds, links and enriches imperative agricultural data points. In addition, the ecosystem profiles and geo-maps places (like abattoirs, silos, markets as well as processing, warehousing and storage facilities), assets, entities and flows for the platform to become an encompassing digital aggregator and facilitator for agri data in South Africa.
The aparate.co platform designs smarter ways to create unique, digital, private and secure connections and engagement amongst smallholder farmer, a knowledgeable ecosystem of specialists and value-driven participants in the agricultural value chain. Furthermore, it enables cross-institutional collaboration and drives the necessary governance and transparency around farmers, assets, training, produce, market access and funding.
